Please Follow Me On My New Website “The Austin Liberal” THANKS!

As I prepare to hit 30,000 followers on Twitter I decided to launch my own website and write and share articles about things that are so important in my life and the lives of all my LGBTQ family. I started blogging and writing articles about 2 years ago sharing personal experiences and writing about politics regarding LGBTQ issues in Texas, the U.S. and globally.

I follow and write on all things Anti-LGBTQ, Anti-Immigrant, Anti-Planned Parenthood, and Anti-Democra calling out their discrimination and lack of humanity!! I write against bullying, racism, sexism, xenophobia, homophobia and against Radical Religious Right Republican Evangelical hate legislation whenever I see it.

My husband and I retired to Austin 4 years ago and have become very active with Human Rights Campaign Austin during the 85th legislative session. This session has provided many discriminatory bills that are already headed to Federal Court in San Antonio starting June 26th. The first is SB 4 the “Sanctuary City-Show Me Your Papers” bill signed into law by the bigoted, racist, anti-immigrant, anti-Planned Parenthood Governor Abbott, but let me tell you how I really feel about him!

With the “Special Session” beginning on July 18th we will be up at the Capitol in Austin visiting Republican Senators and Congressmen’s offices with petitions and voicing our opinions. Human Rights Campaign Austin has been wonderful to work with the whole 85th session and will be in Austin through the end of August! Anyone reading this article that lives in Austin is welcome to join in as we fight the Texas legislature.

Today I’m asking my friends and followers on Twitter and Facebook to follow my website. All you need to do is click the “follow” button at the end of my articles and it will automatically send them to you each time I write one. I grab my laptop and write when the mood strikes me, sometimes in the middle of the night! I tend to write once a day or sometimes several times a day under the current insane administrations in Texas and Washington D.C.

I have some wonderful interviews coming up with politicians in the state of Texas and several people running for office. Thank you to everyone that chooses to follow me on my rollercoaster journey through this stressful time in the United States!

Let’s Keep Austin Weird and Keep Fighting Against Anti-LGBTQ Hate

Feel Free to donate any amount to help keep “The Austin Liberal” sharing daily news on the LGBTQ Community in Austin, Texas, The United States and issues around the world fighting discrimination against our LGBTQ Community!
